The Nujiang Grand Canyon lies between the Gaoligong Mountains and the Biluo Snow Mountains, at the heart of the Three Parallel Rivers region. It is the third-largest canyon in the world, after the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon in China and the Grand Canyon in the United States.
Our cultural hiking and in-depth visits take you deep into the Nujiang Grand Canyon, chasing the legends of the tattoo-faced people, exploring the City of Memories, and walking into untouched gorges—showcasing a Yunnan you have never seen before.
We do not hike for hiking’s sake; we perfectly integrate culture and hiking. Our trips suit both experienced outdoor enthusiasts and complete beginners.

Morning
Head to Liuku and encounter the Nu River for the first time. Along the way, you will pass the Lisu Bathing Ground and the Nu River Tiger Leap Gorge. If you are interested, you can also experience the Nu River zip line.
Afternoon
We will visit the Forgotten City – Zhiziluo.
Evening
We will stay at Songtsam Shimo Hotel.
