In the heart of Giant Panda National Park, the elevation range spans over 4000 meters, and the area encompasses rugged mountains and peaks. This area boasts some of the world's most unique natural landscapes. Not only is the vegetation lush, but beyond wild giant panda, it teems with a variety of wildlife such as the tufted deer (Elaphodus cephalophus), Chinese goral (Naemorhedus griseus), Temminck’s tragopan (Tragopan temminckii), Tibetan macaque(Macaca thibetana), takin(Budorcas taxicolor), Yellow-throated marten(Martes flavigula), and more. These wild animals thrive in this land, making it one of the regions in China with the highest likelihood of encountering diverse wildlife. No special equipment is needed; with keen eyes, one can easily spot the enchanting inhabitants of this area.
There is a Chinese saying: in life, one should "read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles." In terms of traveling ten thousand miles, one of the most famous long routes in China is the“Shu Road” from the poems of the renowned Chinese Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai. A famous Chinese historical novel, “Romance of the Three Kingdoms,” is narrated from the perspective of the Shu Kingdom, and the beginnings and endings of the three kingdoms are closely related to this historic road.
The Sichuan region of Giant Panda National Park boasts some of the finest wild giant panda habitat in China, as well as the rich history of the Three Kingdoms era. Embarking on a journey here means exploring the harmonious blend of nature and culture. Perhaps, this is the essence of exploration.
